Prayers are an essential part of daily living in the Gujarati culture. Reciting these 2-line prayers throughout your day is a great way to memorize the language. Prayers show up in the morning right when you wake up, before you eat, then evening prayer time to ground you for the night. Children particularly like these because then if you take them for a visit to India, they feel like they can connect because they know the same prayers that people there are saying.

In addition to the videos in this curriculum, I have created a beautiful, colorful pdf where the prayers are written in English and include the phonetic version of the Gujarati words to make the learning so much easier.
